Admission

  1. Every candidate must be introduced by a parent/guardian responsible for the student’s conduct to the Principal during the admission process.

  2. Admission is subject to seat availability.

  3. For admission to Pre Nursery, the student must have completed three years by 1st June of the academic year. A Birth Certificate in original must be submitted at the time of admission.

  4. Transfer students must provide the Transfer Certificate (TC) from their previous school. If coming from outside Karnataka, the TC must be countersigned by the appropriate educational authority.

  5. Admission is granted only through formal channels. Recommendations or special requests will not be entertained.

  6. The school reserves the right to admit or retain students based on its policies.

  7. All students who are promoted to the higher classes must fill up the re-admission form.This secures promotion to the next class, subject to attendance and academic performance. Failure to submit the form before the deadline will forfeit the student’s seat, which will be allocated to new applicants.

Fees

  1. Annual fees must be paid in one lump sum or installments, as per the school's fee schedule.

  2. Parents opting for installments must ensure that they pay the same on or before the due date as per the school fee schedule. 

  3. Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  4. Fees for extra activities like outstation tours, competitions, board exams, and supplies (e.g., textbooks, uniforms) must be borne by the parents.

  5. An annual fee hike of 10-15% can be expected.

  6. Transport fees (if applicable) are to be paid term-wise.The school reserves the right to increase the transportation fee if and when required.

  7. Administrative shifts and division changes are at the school's discretion, and any change request may incur a fee.

  8. No Dues Certificate will be issued only after full clearance of fees in case of midterm withdrawal.

  9. Service tax and other applicable taxes will be paid separately.

  10. The school can take required action for any non payment of fees as per the school fee schedule.

Attendance & Leave

  1. Attendance is mandatory on all school days, and half-day leave requests will not be entertained.

  2. Students must attend school on the first and last days surrounding vacations. Prior approval from the school is necessary for any absence.

  3. A minimum attendance of 75% is required to appear for final exams. Medical certificates must be provided for prolonged illness.

  4. In the case of a missed exam due to illness, an average grade will be calculated, provided appropriate documentation is submitted.

  5. Students must arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start. Late arrivals will be penalized after three warnings.

 

Uniform & Appearance

  1. Students must wear the prescribed uniform, including proper socks, shoes, and identity cards. Neat grooming is required at all times.

  2. The school forbids fancy accessories, jewelry, or ostentatious items. Hair should be kept neat, with black accessories for girls.

  3. Non-compliance with uniform rules will result in disciplinary action.

 

Homework

  1. Parents must ensure that students complete their homework regularly. For primary students, homework is kept minimal to encourage extra-curricular activities, while secondary students are expected to meet deadlines.

  2. Homework completion is necessary to participate in class activities.

  

Transport Rules

  1. The school offers transport as an optional service, with stops and timings decided by the Transport Department.

  2. Any misconduct on school buses will result in suspension of the transport facility.

  3. Changes in bus routes or timings are not permitted without prior approval.

  4. Parents should provide written notice of any changes in pickup/drop arrangements.

Amendments

  1. The school reserves the right to amend the rules from time to time. These changes will be communicated and are binding on all students and parents.

 

Extra-Curricular Activities

The school arranges for extracurricular activities at an additional cost for its students. However, the school will not be responsible for the interactions between students and external coaches, instructors, or trainers. The school does not guarantee refunds or specific results as claimed by the course conductors. No parent is allowed to enter the school premises while these extracurricular activities are in session. Waiting within the school premises during the classes is strictly prohibited. Additionally, the school will not provide transport facilities for any extracurricular activities.

 

Discipline

  1. Students are expected to maintain regularity and discipline in all aspects of school life.

  2. Politeness, courtesy in speech and conduct, and cleanliness of dress and person are required.

  3. Students are held accountable for their behaviour both in and outside of school.

  4. Parents are expected to respect the school management’s decisions regarding admissions and disciplinary actions.

  5. Any student who displays persistent indiscipline or engages in behaviour detrimental to the school environment may face temporary or permanent expulsion, depending on the severity of the offence.

  6. Cleanliness and hygiene are paramount to ensure the health and well-being of all students.

  7. Personal cleanliness and the proper disposal of waste in designated bins are expected.

  8. Class Monitors are responsible for maintaining order in the absence of a teacher.

  9. Visits between students of different classes are not permitted during recess.

  10. Students must communicate strictly in English on the school premises, in the school bus, and at all school functions.

  11. The prescribed school uniform must be worn at all times to maintain uniformity.

  12. Physical violence or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated and will be dealt with severely.

  13. Misuse of the school name, logo, or social media for improper purposes will result in strict action.

  14. Students must use social media responsibly and are prohibited from sharing inappropriate content related to the school, teachers, or peers.

  15. Only vegetarian meals should be packed in lunch boxes.

 

Parent Cooperation

  1. Parents are expected to support and reinforce school policies.

  2. Attendance at parent-teacher meetings and school events is encouraged.

  3. Appointments with teachers or the Principal should be made in advance to avoid disruption during school hours.

  4. Private tuition is discouraged, and teachers are prohibited from offering private lessons to students they teach in school.

  5. Parents must ensure their children adhere to the school’s discipline and punctuality standards.

  6. The use of technology by students must be supervised, and parents are encouraged to avoid providing students with advanced smartphones.

  7. Parents should avoid spreading rumours or false information about the school via social media.

  8. The school reserves the right to change or amend school policies, which will be binding on parents and students.

 

Outstation Tours / Picnics

The school may organise national or international tours for students, which are optional and will only be available to bonafide students. Students are expected to follow all instructions given by accompanying teachers or tour managers. The school is not responsible for any changes made by the tour operator.

 

General Issues

  1. Ensure that your child’s name is clearly marked on all personal items.

  2. Regularly check your child’s school bag and diary for important communications.

  3. The school uniform must be kept clean and hygienic.

  4. Tiffin boxes should not contain unhealthy snacks, and non-vegetarian food is strictly prohibited on school premises.

 

Withdrawal

  1. A month's notice is required in writing for a student's withdrawal.

  2. Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  3. Students who leave without notice or are absent for more than a month may not be readmitted.

  4. The school reserves the right to refuse the issuance of a Leaving Certificate until all dues are cleared.

  5. Parents must apply for the Leaving Certificate in writing, and a month’s notice is mandatory before a student leaves the school.
